1. It’s a most likely synthetic fiber-like polyester causing this phenomenon. Silk can also do this, so don’t spend a fortune on luxury silk bedding for your doll. You can use cotton or linen, and most of the natural fiber works fine to use.

2. My doll was very static at first. Especially before I washed and powdered her the first time. Today, that’s no longer the case. I’m not sure when that stopped, though. But it was very inconvenient. She made all the wigs I put on her full of static too.

The only thing I can suggest is to wash her with mild soap and then powder her a few times and see if it goes away with that.

3. A light dusting with cornstarch takes care of static on my doll.
